What fields does a bilty contain?
A usable bilty names both parties, the stations, the goods, the weight and the freight type. Those are the same fields as an LR and the same document people look up under bilty. LR software and bilty software are two names for keeping that note online.
How do PAID, TO_PAY and TBB differ?
PAID is collected from the booking party at the counter. TO_PAY is collected from the consignee at delivery. TBB waits for an invoice to the billing account. See TBB and the longer note on PAID, TO_PAY and TBB. The freight type is what GST transport billing later uses for TBB loads.

Where should the e-way bill sit?

What is the difference between PAID, TO_PAY and TBB on a bilty?
