Consignor vs Consignee

The consignor is the party sending goods; the consignee is the party receiving them. Billing may be to either party or a separate billed-to account (common with TBB).

Transport software should capture consignor, consignee and billed-to clearly so freight type, GST and outstanding stay correct through delivery and invoicing.
